My blog:
I've always been drawn to painting, with a preference for watercolor. I even tried exhibitions, which were a great success—which surprised me at first.
The story of this illustrated comic strip began three years ago, thanks to a Christmas present: a class with a drawing teacher, which started it all.
The lives of my cats surprise me, make me laugh, pique my curiosity, and touch me. I watch them, I observe them attentively.
Outdoor activities, like my home, are invaluable resources for my imagination. They bring lightness to my mind and help me serenely pursue my career as a nurse, which I have practiced for many years.
At first, I drew my felines simply for fun and relaxation. Then, little by little, all these elements combined, and the idea of an illustrated comic book, suggested by those around me, took shape.

I drew my cats according to their temperaments, then, using a light box, I was able to transcribe each drawing onto watercolor paper. Then came the watercolor, inking, and layout phases.
With humor, I wanted to show their lives, their everyday moments. I often imagine them through what I experience myself.
Amidst these light moments, human values and societal themes also slip in: living together, solidarity, families, respect, differences...
This illustrated comic book is aimed primarily at young people, but also at all those who have kept a childlike soul, not devoid of a touch of naivety.
The children's entourage will be able to accompany them in the discovery of emotions, while imagination will have its place - because this is what illustration allows.
Through the cats' expressions, everyone will be able to identify with the emotions expressed. It will also be an opportunity to question themselves.
Alone or with someone, this illustrated comic strip is a moment for oneself: an invitation for the child to "return to calm."
